Yeah, I don't believe Mr. Lordy Face for a second. This is all the stupid Core's fault. I really don't get why they sent me here though. Is this what happens when you are rehabilitated? Is this punishment? I was just trying to have a simple sleepover and then I get uprooted and...
[Her grumbling, which sounds like a displeased puppy, trails off and there is a small pause. The faint sound of sniffing can be heard in the background.]
It smells weird here too. Couldn't they have at least stuck me in a place that doesn't smell funky?
And what about Nigel! Who's going to feed him! Great job Core! You're a bunch of bunny killers. I hope you are happy with yourselves.

[Talia makes a point of reading through/listening to everything that's been said before her response before adding her own. Her expression is calm, though any that know her well enough will note that she looks tired and strained.]
I would advise to refrain from violence unto others while you are here... the Lord of this place seems rather to enjoy his punishment sessions and I would not recommend you earn one for yourself. Injury to another guest or staff member, or damage to the Keep property can both earn a swift, and violent, punishment. There seems to be no telling precisely what earns what punishment, but there have been no repeats during my time here and, while archaic, they prove more than effective.
Keep yourself within the Keep boundaries and do not attempt to scale or escape from the outer walls that border the lands here; doing so will result in your death. Death, while not permanent here, does result in the temporary loss of ones memories.
[Her lips quirk slightly at the last.]

I do not mean to chastise even before you have acted, child, and apologize if it sounded as such. I merely meant to advise as one whom has experienced these things before and does not wish that upon anyone else. Death, while not permanent, is no less unpleasant and the punishments...

Within my own lands, perhaps, but here no more authority than you, I think.

The Lord here seems to prefer punishments similar to what some call the 'dark ages'. Public floggings, stretching on the rack and branding are amongst things suffered unto the residents here as penalty. I've no doubt that the imagination of Deior stretches rather far and wide.

There is no need at all to apologize, kitling... under the circumstances I think you are doing just fine and have certainly done nothing worth apologizing for.
And no, nothing that simple, thankfully. If that were the case, every klutzy person in the Keep would suffer punishments far too frequently. No, something simple like plates, glasses or decoration are not enough to warrant punishment. Although I would advise you to not take out a wall or door if at all avoidable; and do not destroy your journal. It is not only protected under Lord Deior's missive, but it proves a rather invaluable form of communication.

The MS Elegante... a ship that saved the lives of a precious few when the worlds were under attack and being destroyed. You can see why I am less than believing about what the Lord of this Keep tells us. I have lived through it once... I cannot fathom it happening a second time.
